Uberto Southwestern Bohemian Red Hand-Knotted Wool Carpet 4' x 6'

Quick facts: hand-knotted wool · size 4' x 6' · for living room, bedroom, entryway · free shipping across India.

Uberto is a red hand-knotted wool carpet in a bordered Southwestern design with a Bohemian feel, sized 4' x 6'. Red does the heavy lifting in a room, and the border frames the pattern neatly. This size fits a bedside, a reading corner or the space inside a door.

Material and make

Uberto is knotted by hand, one knot at a time, and the pile is sheared level once the weaving is finished. The result is dense and long-wearing. Wool, the fibre used, is resilient and warm and bounces back after footsteps, and a little loose fibre in the early days is normal.

In the room

Place it at the foot of a bed, in front of an armchair or by the front of a sofa in a smaller living room. Layered over a larger plain carpet it adds a bright, patterned note. Red looks good with cream walls, pale wood and indigo or grey upholstery, so it will not take much effort to style.

Care

Vacuum on a gentle setting, blot spills quickly, and turn the carpet end to end every so often so the red wears evenly. Call a wool specialist when a full clean is needed.
