This Website is owned and operated by Rugsville India Private Limited, a company incorporated under the Companies Act, with its registered office at Jaipur, India.

For the purpose of these Terms of Use, wherever the context so requires, "You", "User" or "Customer" shall mean any natural or legal person who uses the Website. The term "Rugsville", "We", "Us", or "Our" shall mean Rugsville India Private Limited.

Your use of the Website and services and tools are governed by the following terms and conditions ("Terms of Use") as applicable to the Website including the applicable policies which are incorporated herein by way of reference. By mere use of the Website, You shall be contracting with Rugsville and these terms and conditions including the policies constitute Your binding obligations, with Rugsville.

1. Membership Eligibility

Use of the Website is available only to persons who can form legally binding contracts under the Indian Contract Act, 1872. Persons who are "incompetent to contract" within the meaning of the Indian Contract Act, 1872 including minors, un-discharged insolvents etc. are not eligible to use the Website. If You are a minor i.e. under the age of 18 years, You shall not register as a User of the Website and shall not transact on or use the Website. Rugsville reserves the right to terminate Your membership and/or refuse to provide You with access to the Website if it is brought to Rugsville's notice or if it is discovered that You are under the age of 18 years.

2. Account and Registration Obligations

If You use the Website, You shall be responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of Your Display Name and Password and You shall be responsible for all activities that occur under Your Display Name and Password. You agree that if You provide any information that is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete, we have the right to indefinitely suspend or terminate or block access of Your membership on the Website.

You agree to immediately notify Rugsville of any unauthorized use of Your password or account or any other breach of security.

When You use the Website or send emails or other data, information or communication to Us, You agree and understand that You are communicating with Us through electronic records and You consent to receive communications via electronic records from Us periodically and as and when required. We may communicate with You by email or by such other mode of communication, electronic or otherwise.

4. Platform for Transaction and Communication

The Website is a platform that Users utilize to meet and interact with one another for their transactions. Rugsville is not and cannot be a party to or control in any manner any transaction between Rugsville's Users. However, Rugsville does act as a seller for its own products on the platform.

5. Product Descriptions and Pricing (Important Disclaimer)

Rugsville attempts to be as accurate as possible. However, Rugsville does not warrant that product descriptions or other content of this site is accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free.

  • Color Variations: We have done our best to display as accurately as possible the colors of the rugs shown on this Website. However, because the colors you see will depend on your monitor or mobile display, we cannot guarantee that your display of any color will be accurate. Slight variations in hues and tones are normal in handcrafted products and are not considered defects.
  • Sizing: As our rugs are often handmade, there might be slight variations in the standard sizes shown (up to 3-5% variance), which is industry standard for handcrafted textiles.
  • Pricing Errors: In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price due to typographical error or error in pricing information received from our suppliers, Rugsville shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for products listed at the incorrect price. Rugsville shall have the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and Your credit/debit card charged. If Your payment has already been processed for the purchase and Your order is cancelled, Rugsville shall immediately issue a refund to Your payment source.

6. Charges

Membership on the Website is free for buyers. Rugsville does not charge any fee for browsing and buying on the Website. Rugsville reserves the right to change its Fee Policy from time to time. In particular, Rugsville may at its sole discretion introduce new services and modify some or all of the existing services offered on the Website.

7. User Conduct and Rules

You agree and undertake to use the Website and the Service only to post and upload messages and material that are proper. By way of example, and not as a limitation, You agree that when using the Website, You will not:

  • Defame, abuse, harass, stalk, threaten or otherwise violate the legal rights of others;

You acknowledge and agree that You shall not use, reproduce or distribute any content from the Website belonging to Rugsville without obtaining authorization from Rugsville. Particularly, you may not scrape, reproduce, or use our product images or rug designs for commercial purposes.

The Linked Sites are not under the control of Rugsville or the Website and Rugsville is not responsible for the contents of any Linked Site, including without limitation any link contained in a Linked Site, or any changes or updates to a Linked Site. RUGSVILLE HAS ENDEAVORED TO ENSURE THAT ALL THE INFORMATION ON THE WEBSITE IS CORRECT, BUT RUGSVILLE NEITHER WARRANTS NOR MAKES ANY REPRESENTATIONS REGARDING THE QUALITY, ACCURACY OR COMPLETENESS OF ANY DATA OR INFORMATION. We use third-party payment gateways to process payments made on the Website. By using these services, You agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of these payment gateway service providers. Rugsville is not responsible for any failed transactions, errors, or security breaches that occur on third-party payment platforms.

Your orders are governed by our separate Shipping Policy and Return & Refund Policy, which are incorporated into these Terms of Use by reference. Please review these policies before placing an order.

Rugsville may suspend or terminate Your use of the Website or any Service if it believes, in its sole and absolute discretion, that You have breached, violated, abused, or unethically manipulated or exploited any term of these Terms of Use or anyway otherwise acted unethical.

You agree that all claims, differences and disputes arising under or in connection with or in relation hereto the Website, these Terms of Use, the Agreement(s) or any transactions entered into on or through the Website or the relationship between You and Rugsville shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Jaipur, India and You hereby accede to and accept the jurisdiction of such courts.
