Tibetan Modern Brown Hand-Knotted Wool Carpet

Quick facts: hand-knotted wool · size 6' x 9' · for living room, bedroom, entryway · free shipping across India.

This brown hand-knotted wool carpet has a modern Tibetan design, and the size on this page is 6' x 9'. Brown is warm and forgiving, so it suits a living room with wooden furniture or a bedroom with softer tones. It stays on the page as a single size option, so you can order it knowing exactly what it will cover.

Material and make

On the loom, the knots of this carpet are tied by hand and the pile is trimmed level, which makes it dense and long-wearing. Wool is a natural fibre that recovers after furniture has been moved, and it helps a room feel warm in cooler months. Keep it away from strong direct sun if you want the brown to stay even.

In the room

Lay a 6' x 9' in a living room under the coffee table so the front legs of the sofa and chairs rest on it. In a bedroom, slide it under the lower part of the bed so it frames the foot and a little of each side. Brown also works well beside cream walls and darker wood, giving the room a settled look.

Care

Keep the roller off when you vacuum, and blot spills at once. Have the carpet cleaned professionally rather than shampooing it at home, and rotate it every few months so the wear stays even.
