Overdyed Patchwork Bohemian Multicolour Hand-Knotted Wool Carpet 6' x 9'

Quick facts: hand-knotted wool · size 6' x 9' · for living room, bedroom, entryway · free shipping across India.

Many colours come together in this Overdyed Patchwork carpet, a bohemian, Southwestern-leaning design in hand-knotted wool, sized 6' x 9'. It is a carpet for rooms that welcome colour and pattern. The patchwork look makes it a lively centrepiece without needing much else, and it livens up a bare floor at once.

Material and make

Individually tied knots form the pile, and the surface is then sheared to one level, giving a dense, long-wearing finish. Wool provides the warmth and resilience. A bit of fluff in the first weeks is part of owning a new wool carpet and clears with vacuuming.

In the room

Place 6' x 9' in the middle of a living room so the sofa and chairs sit on its edges, or lay it across the floor of a bedroom with the bed standing partly on it. Plain walls and simple furniture let the multicolour pattern shine. Pick one shade from the carpet for curtains or cushions.

Care

Vacuum with the beater bar disengaged and turn the carpet every season. Wipe up spills by blotting with a clean cloth, and keep it out of constant strong sun.
