Heriz Geometric Rust Hand-Knotted Wool Carpet

Quick facts: hand-knotted wool · sizes 2'6" x 6' to 9' x 12' · for living room, bedroom, entryway · free shipping across India.

Heriz in rust is a hand-knotted wool carpet, drawn in geometric lines and sold in sizes that run from 3' x 5' up to 9' x 12'. The straight, angular drawing of a Heriz pattern sits well in a contemporary room as well as a traditional one, and rust adds warmth to both. It is a sensible pick for homes that want one carpet design to work in several rooms, from a narrow passage to a full living room.

Material and make

Hand-knotting means every knot is tied by hand, row after row, on an upright loom, with the pile sheared even at the end. The result is dense and hard-wearing, and the wool beneath it adds warmth and resilience. Light shedding at the start is normal.

In the room

The long, narrow sizes, 2'6" x 6' and 2'6" x 12', are suited to hallways and passages, while 3' x 5' fits a bedside or doorway. For a main room, 8' x 10' lets a seating group rest on the carpet, and 9' x 12' suits a large living room or an open dining area.

Care

Switch the beater bar off when you vacuum, and rotate the carpet occasionally so wear is shared. Blot spills right away, and bring in a professional wool cleaner for deeper cleaning.
