Quick facts: hand-tufted wool · sizes 4' x 6' to 9' x 12' · for bedroom, entryway, living room · free shipping across India.

Okafor is a geometric hand-tufted wool carpet available in several colourways, among them ivory and navy. Its solid and striped styling is orderly and easy to place, which suits living rooms, bedrooms and entryways. Colourway and size are selected on this page, with 4' x 6' the smallest and 9' x 12' the largest.

Material and make

Hand tufting means yarn is driven through a taut cloth with a hand-held tool, after which the underside is backed and the face is sheared level. The finished face is plush and thick. Wool is naturally resilient, and the loose fibres of a new carpet clear with ordinary vacuuming.

In the room

Ivory suits a bright room with timber floors, and navy works in a room that needs grounding. A 5' x 8' carpet sits well under a coffee table, 6' x 9' reaches under the front of a bed, and 8' x 10' or 9' x 12' makes a base for a full sofa group. Straight lines in the design pair well with simple, clean-lined furniture.

Care

Use the suction setting on your vacuum rather than the beater bar, and rotate the carpet through a half-turn every few months. Blot spills at once with a dry cloth and use a specialist cleaner for a full wash.
