Trellis Modern Grey Handwoven Wool Dhurrie Carpet

Quick facts: handwoven wool · sizes 2' x 3' to 12' x 18' · for living room, bedroom, entryway · free shipping across India.

Trellis Grey is a grey dhurrie carpet handwoven from wool and patterned in a modern bird-eye grid. Grey is the most adaptable of neutrals, and here the trellis lattice stops it from looking plain. It suits flats and houses where the furniture changes more often than the floor.

Material and make

A dhurrie is woven flat by hand, with no loops or knots standing above the surface, so it stays light and is easy to roll away when you clean. Wool adds warmth and a natural bounce, and the odd loose fibre in the first weeks is nothing to worry about.

In the room

Try the 5' x 8' size in front of a sofa or under a bed, and 8' x 10' in a bigger living room where the seating needs a proper base. The 2' x 3' size is handy at a door, and 10' x 14' covers a large hall. Grey sits easily with blue, mustard, terracotta or white cushions.

Care

Vacuum gently and shake the carpet outdoors now and then. Wipe up spills with a clean damp cloth and ask a professional about deeper cleaning.
