Hover Modern Grey Handwoven Wool Dhurrie Carpet

Quick facts: handwoven wool · sizes Custom to 12' x 18' · for living room, bedroom, entryway · free shipping across India.

Hover is a handwoven wool dhurrie carpet in grey with a geometric pattern and a modern, uncluttered feel. Grey is an easy colour to live with, so the carpet fits in beside wood, white paint, bold cushions or soft neutrals. The geometric pattern keeps it lively without being loud. Available from 2' x 3' to 12' x 18'.

Material and make

A dhurrie is woven by hand without a knotted pile, so it lies flat, stays light and is easy to move. Wool brings warmth and resilience to the weave, and it springs back after being walked on. Some loose fibre early on is normal and clears with a few passes of the vacuum.

In the room

The smaller sizes, 2' x 3' and 4' x 6', suit an entryway or the side of a bed, while 5' x 8' and 6' x 9' work in a bedroom or under a coffee table. For a large living room or dining space, the 8' x 10', 9' x 12' and bigger sizes let the furniture sit comfortably on the carpet. Because a dhurrie is flat, it slips under doors without trouble.

Care

Vacuum without a beater bar and blot spills promptly. A flat weave is easy to take outside and shake out. Rotate it occasionally so that the grey wears evenly.
