Sanctuary Cozy Floral Hand-Tufted Wool Carpet

Quick facts: hand-tufted wool · sizes 3' x 5' to 9' x 12' · for bedroom, entryway, living room · free shipping across India.

Sanctuary Cozy is a floral hand-tufted wool carpet that is available in several colourways, so you can choose the one that suits your room. The country-style floral pattern has a relaxed, homely feel, and the size options run from small accent pieces such as 3' x 5' up to a large 9' x 12' for a full living room.

Material and make

Hand-tufting is done with a hand-held tool that drives wool yarn through a woven backing; afterwards the carpet is backed and the surface sheared into a plush, close-cut finish. Wool is resilient and springs back after being walked on, and it feels warm in cooler weather. A little loose fibre early on is normal and settles with vacuuming.

In the room

Use the smaller sizes such as 3' x 5' or 4' x 6' beside a bed or inside an entryway, and 5' x 8' or 6' x 9' in front of a sofa. The larger 8' x 10' and 9' x 12' can sit under a whole seating group, with the furniture legs on the carpet and a margin of floor showing around it.

Care

Vacuum regularly without a beater bar, and blot spills rather than rubbing them. Have it professionally cleaned when it needs more than spot treatment.
