Heriz Persian Ivory Hand-Knotted Sari Silk Carpet 6' x 9'

Quick facts: hand-knotted silk · size 6' x 9' · for living room, bedroom, entryway · free shipping across India.

This Heriz-style ivory hand-knotted sari silk carpet measures 6' x 9'. Heriz designs are known for bold, structured layouts, and the ivory colour keeps that boldness light. Bohemian touches and the sheen of silk make it a good carpet for living room or bedroom floors that see gentle use.

Material and make

Hand-knotting builds this carpet knot by knot, and the pile is sheared level once the weaving is finished. The fibre is sari silk, which reflects light and gives the carpet a soft shine. Silk is delicate compared with wool, so the carpet is best in rooms with gentle footfall and professional cleaning.

In the room

Keep this carpet in a bedroom or a seating area that is walked across less often than a hallway. At 6' x 9', it can sit under a coffee table with seating placed at its edges, or beside a bed where bare feet meet it first.

Care

Vacuum with suction only and keep sharp heels and heavy, narrow furniture legs off the silk. For spills, blot at once and call a professional cleaner instead of scrubbing.
