Trellis Modern Black Handwoven Wool Dhurrie Carpet

Quick facts: handwoven wool · sizes Custom to 12' x 18' · for living room, bedroom, entryway · free shipping across India.

Trellis in black is a modern dhurrie carpet handwoven from wool, patterned in a bird-eye lattice and available in sizes from 2' x 3' up to 12' x 18'. Black gives a floor real contrast, and a trellis grid keeps that depth from feeling heavy. It is a strong choice for a room with pale walls or light wood.

Material and make

Dhurrie weaving is done by hand and leaves no knotted pile, so the carpet lies flat, weighs little and rolls up easily. Wool is warm and resilient, and loose fibre in the early weeks is normal. A flat weave in a dark colour also makes a tidy, defined shape against the floor.

In the room

The smallest sizes, 2' x 3' and 4' x 6', suit doorways and bedsides, while 5' x 8' or 6' x 9' fit a seating group. For larger rooms, 8' x 10' and 9' x 12' let a sofa and chairs rest on the carpet, and 10' x 14' to 12' x 18' work in big halls. Against pale floors the black reads as a strong frame; against dark wood it becomes a quiet shadow.

Care

Vacuum on a low setting and shake smaller sizes out in the open. Blot spills and leave deeper cleaning to a professional.
