Ori Vintage Persian Red Carpet 5' x 7'7"

Quick facts: machine-made synthetic · size 5' x 7'7" · for living room, bedroom, entryway · free shipping across India.

Ori is a vintage-style Persian carpet in red with an Oriental pattern, measuring 5' x 7'7". Red is a rich, confident colour, and with a vintage look the carpet feels at home in a room that already has some character. It makes the floor the starting point of the room's colour scheme.

Material and make

Ori is machine-made: a power loom turns synthetic yarn into the vintage-style Persian design, with an even finish from edge to edge. Synthetic fibres are practical and tolerant of day-to-day use. Turkey is where it is manufactured.

In the room

In a living room, 5' x 7'7" lets the front feet of a sofa rest on the carpet; in a bedroom it fills the area by the bed, so the first thing your feet touch in the morning is the carpet rather than a bare floor. Red works with cream walls, dark wooden furniture and brass lamps, and it brightens up a plain floor. Keep cushions and curtains quiet so the carpet stays the focus.

Care

Vacuum regularly. Blot spills as soon as they happen and wipe gently rather than scrubbing.
