Asher Nova Multicolour Novelty Hand-Tufted Wool Carpet

Quick facts: hand-tufted wool · sizes 4' x 6' to 8' x 10' · for bedroom, entryway, living room · free shipping across India.

Asher Nova is a multicolour hand-tufted wool carpet with a playful novelty design, from the Kids and Novelty range. It is made for rooms that are allowed to be fun, such as a children's bedroom or a family corner of the living room. Sizes start at 4' x 6' and reach 8' x 10', enough range for a bedroom corner or a family room.

Material and make

Tufting is carried out with a hand-held tool that pushes yarn into a backing cloth; the carpet is then backed and sheared, giving a plush finish. Wool is warm and resilient and holds up to play. Early loose fibre is normal and soon clears.

In the room

Beside a bed or in a play corner, 4' x 6' works well; 5' x 8' and 6' x 9' cover the middle of a room, and 8' x 10' gives a large family space a bright centre. Keep other furnishings plain, so the novelty design is the only thing doing the talking.

Care

Vacuum on a low setting and blot spills straight away. Wool carpets can be professionally cleaned when marked, and a non-slip underlay helps with active play. Rotate it a few times a year so the colours wear evenly.
