Xandex Modern Geometric Multicolour Hand-Tufted Wool Carpet 2' x 3'

Quick facts: hand-tufted wool · size 2' x 3' · for living room, bedroom, entryway · free shipping across India.

Xandex is a multicolour hand-tufted wool carpet in a modern geometric design. Several colours share the surface, and the geometric pattern keeps them organised instead of busy, so the carpet adds lively colour to a plain room without overwhelming it. It can go into a living room, a bedroom or an entrance hall, and it holds its own on both light and dark floors.

Material and make

In a hand-tufted carpet like this, a hand-held tool punches the wool yarn through a base cloth; the back is then coated and the pile is sheared level, leaving a plush finish. Wool is warm and resilient, and the pile springs back after furniture has stood on it. A little loose fibre in the early weeks is normal. Its origin is India.

In the room

Place Xandex where its colours can be seen: under a coffee table in a living room, beside a bed, or just inside the front door where the colour greets visitors. Keep walls and big furniture plain and let a few cushions repeat one or two of its shades.

Care

Vacuum gently with the brush roll switched off and blot spills at once with a clean cloth. Rotate the carpet occasionally so the colours wear evenly, and use a professional cleaner for deeper marks.
