Patchwork Bohemian Green & Red Hand-Tufted Wool Carpet 4' x 6'

Quick facts: hand-tufted wool · size 4' x 6' · for living room, bedroom, entryway · free shipping across India.

Green, red and blue make up the patchwork on this bohemian hand-tufted wool carpet, which measures 4' x 6'. The mix of colours suits relaxed rooms with plants, books and cushions in several shades. It is a lively carpet for living room, bedroom or study floors. Because it is a smaller size, it is also a practical way to bring colour into a corner without redecorating.

Material and make

Hand-tufting forms the surface: a hand-held tool pushes yarn through a backing cloth, then the carpet is backed and sheared level. The wool pile is plush and springs back after furniture is moved. Shedding of loose fibre at first is normal. The backing cloth keeps the underside neat and holds the pile firmly in place.

In the room

A small footprint makes it useful in front of a sofa, at a desk or at the foot of a single bed. The multicolour patchwork looks best on a plain floor and with simple curtains, so the colours can stay the focus of the room.

Care

Take the beater bar off the vacuum and go over the carpet at low suction. Blot spills right away, and rotate the carpet from time to time so the colours age evenly.
