LIMO Junior Modern Ivory Hand-Tufted Wool Carpet LMJ52

Quick facts: hand-tufted wool · sizes 4' x 6' to 5' x 7' · for living room, bedroom, entryway · free shipping across India.

Take a look at LIMO Junior: a hand-tufted wool carpet available in ivory with a novelty-style design. The colour and the novelty design give the carpet an obvious centre of attention in a child's bedroom, so it pays to keep everything else simple.

Material and make

The process is hand-tufting: wool yarn is punched through a backing cloth by a hand-held tool. Trimming the surface even and adding the backing completes the carpet with a plush finish. The wool surface springs back under footsteps, while the fibre itself adds natural warmth to the floor. Early on, some stray fibres can come away; that is normal for life with a new wool carpet and passes in time.

In the room

5' x 7' fits an average room, where the carpet can sit under a sofa and still leave floor at each side. Mid-sized options such as 4' x 6' work at the end of the bed or in the centre of the compact bedroom, with floor visible at every side. Straighten the carpet with the wall for a tidy result. Square up the carpet against the bed for a neat result.

Care

Vacuum the carpet regularly with the beater bar turned off, and blot each spill straight away instead of scrubbing it. Rotating it occasionally helps the pile age evenly; for deep dirt, call a specialist carpet cleaner.
