Ziegler Persian Floral Hand-Knotted Wool Round Carpet

Quick facts: hand-knotted wool · sizes 6' Round to 8' Round · for living room, bedroom, entryway · free shipping across India.

This Ziegler-style floral piece is a hand-knotted wool round carpet, available in several colourways to suit different rooms. A circle breaks up the straight lines of a room, and the floral Persian pattern fills it with soft, traditional detail.

Material and make

Ties are made one at a time by hand, and the surface is sheared to an even pile after knotting, which makes the carpet dense and long-wearing. Wool is a forgiving fibre that springs back after use and holds warmth. Expect a little loose fibre at the start. A round piece also looks right beneath a pendant light or at the foot of a staircase.

In the room

At 6' Round, the carpet sits well under a small coffee table or in a reading corner, while 8' Round can define a dining area under a circular table. Keep the chair legs on the carpet when pulled out, and let the circle stand clear of bulky furniture.

Care

Vacuum without a beater bar, working lightly around the edge. Blot spills with a dry cloth and ask a professional cleaner for help with deeper marks. Turn the carpet now and then so it wears evenly.
