Sibel Persian Sage Green Hand-Tufted Wool Carpet

Quick facts: hand-tufted wool · sizes 5' x 8' to 9' x 12' · for living room, bedroom, entryway · free shipping across India.

Sibel in sage green is a Persian-style hand-tufted wool carpet, available in sizes from 5' x 8' to 9' x 12'. Sage is a soft, grey-leaning green that settles a room, and the Persian-style design adds tradition without the usual reds. It gives a living room or bedroom a restful, garden-like palette that is easy to live with.

Material and make

Hand-tufting forces the wool yarn through a woven base using a hand-held tool, and the underside is then backed while the top is sheared even. Wool is resilient and warm, so the carpet recovers well after being walked on. Expect a little loose fibre at first; regular vacuuming clears it.

In the room

The 5' x 8' suits the space in front of a sofa or beside a bed, the 8' x 10' can sit under a full seating group or a bed with side tables, and the 9' x 12' fills a large living room. Sage green goes with natural wood, cream walls, white linen and brass. Add a non-slip underlay to keep any size flat.

Care

Vacuum with the suction on a gentle setting, leaving the beater bar off. Blot spills straight away, and book a professional clean when the carpet needs more than spot treatment.
