Hand-woven carpets in this idiom were originally made for tents, then for temple floors, then for verandas. The vocabulary is geometric because the loom rewards geometry and punishes curves. The flatweave was made in India over two to three weeks on a horizontal pit loom. Hand-spun wool worked weft against weft until the field composes. Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery in original condition (rolled, not folded; no pet hair, smoke, or stains).
