Ajarak red leads on this Kantha quilt bedspread, printed in a bordered floral pattern on cotton. It is a king-size bedspread at 90" x 108", with Kantha stitching in colourful cotton thread across the surface.

Details

Layers of cotton fabric are joined by the Kantha stitching, which holds them flat and gives a lightly textured finish. Red is the main colour, with other shades appearing in the printed border and florals.

In the room

A bordered quilt frames the bed neatly, so it looks best spread flat with the border showing at the sides. Pair it with white or cream pillows to let the red and the border lead.

Care

Wash it gently with a mild detergent, by hand or on a delicate setting, and dry it in the shade. Red prints are best washed separately from light laundry.
