Loop Tribal Rust Hand-Tufted Wool Carpet

Quick facts: hand-tufted wool · sizes 8' x 10' to 9' x 12' · for living room, bedroom, entryway · free shipping across India.

Loop, a hand-tufted wool carpet in rust, shows a tribal design. This kind of tribal design is at its best when the rest of the room stays calm.

Material and make

With a handheld tufting tool, the yarn is driven into a cloth backing to build the carpet. Last, the piece is backed and sheared level, giving it a plush finish. Wool is a resilient fibre, so the pile recovers after footsteps and once furniture is moved. Do not worry about loose fibre in the vacuum in the early days: this is simply new wool bedding in.

In the room

9' x 12' is the option to choose for a large living room, covering so much floor that furniture can stand fully on it. Choose 8' x 10' when the room is big enough, so that a sofa can sit squarely on the carpet. Square up the carpet with the wall for a tidy look. Place it where the pattern can be seen rather than hidden under furniture.

Care

Run a vacuum over the carpet regularly with the beater bar switched off, and dab any spill at once rather than rubbing it. Turn it every so often so that no single end will take all the wear, and leave deep marks to a specialist.
