Joseph Modern Geometric Grey Hand-Tufted Wool Carpet

Quick facts: hand-tufted wool · sizes 2'6" x 6' to 12' x 15' · for living room, bedroom, entryway · free shipping across India.

Joseph is a grey hand-tufted wool carpet with a modern, geometric pattern, and this page carries a wide spread of sizes. Grey is a dependable background colour, so the geometric lines do the talking while walls, sofa and curtains stay as they are. It suits a living room, a bedroom or an entryway.

Material and make

Each Joseph carpet is hand-tufted: yarn is punched through a backing cloth by a hand-held tufting tool, then backed and sheared level. The result is a plush, dense surface in wool, a fibre that is warm, resilient and quick to spring back after furniture has stood on it. Expect a little loose fibre in the early weeks; regular vacuuming settles it.

In the room

The sizes run from compact ones such as 4' x 6' for a bedside up to 10' x 14' and 12' x 15' for a large living room or an open-plan space. Narrow lengths such as 2'6" x 10' fit a corridor or the length of a passage. In a living room, choose a size that lets the front legs of the sofa and chairs rest on the carpet.

Care

Switch the beater bar off when you vacuum, and turn the carpet once in a while. Blot spills without rubbing, and call in a professional for deep cleaning.
