Quick facts: handwoven cotton · size 4'9" x 7'11" · for living room, bedroom, entryway · free shipping across India.

Filumn is a handwoven cotton dhurrie carpet in multicolour, with a printed geometric pattern. Cotton is a light, flat and easygoing material, and the bright geometric design gives a bedroom, a study or a living room an easy lift. At 4'9" x 7'11" it is a roomy size without being heavy to handle.

Material and make

A dhurrie is woven by hand without a knotted pile, which is why it lies flat and is light enough to lift and shake out. Cotton is a soft, light fibre that can be washed or spot-cleaned, so it suits households that like to keep their floors practical. The flat weave also slides under doors without catching.

In the room

Measuring 4'9" x 7'11", the dhurrie suits the space in front of a sofa, the area beside a bed or a small dining corner. It is also a good layer over a plain floor in a study. Leave a little bare floor around it so the geometric design reads clearly.

Care

Check the care instructions on the carpet, and spot-clean spills with mild soap and water. Shake it out regularly, vacuum it with the beater bar off and dry it fully if it gets wet.
