The composition
A fresh greenery field reads first, with the original village geometries surfacing in close olive and dropped sage tones. Hand-stitched seams are visible only on close approach. The pile direction varies subtly between panels, which gives the surface its movement under angled light. As the wool ages, the green will warm slightly and the under-drawing will read more clearly.
