The composition

The unified Greenery field carries the patchwork grid as one continuous saturated spring mood. The original village cartoons read through as quieter chromatic modulations within the dominant leaf-green ground. The over-dye ranges from a slightly cooler green at the borders to a warmer mid-green across the centre. There is no border. No medallion. The composition is intended to read as one continuous chromatic field, the way a fresh canopy of new leaves reads as one continuous green volume with subtle internal variation.
