The dark brown immersion bath unified the panel tones into a single deep ground while leaving the underlying geometries visible as a quieter under-layer.

The composition

A deep dark brown field holds the surface, with the original village patterns surfacing in close walnut and bronze tones. Panel seams are hand-stitched and visible on close approach. The pile direction varies subtly between panels, which gives the surface a soft movement under angled light. As the wool ages, the brown will deepen further and the under-drawing will read more clearly.
