Walnut grey ages into warm taupe over the years rather than greening.

A soft grey field carries an abstracted floral motif in close shades of stone, ivory, and pale silver, with silk highlights catching at the centres of the floral forms. The wool reads as matte ground; the silk reads as light caught and released. The contrast is small enough to feel cohesive at a distance and clear enough to reveal on close approach. Walls in cream or oat plaster will lift the field; cool grey paint will flatten it.
