The neutral of the ground sits behind a layered lattice that reveals more on approach than at distance. Vegetable colour does not arrive fixed. The reds will lighten by a half tone over the first decade, the indigos will deepen, the ivory will warm into bone. The rug arrives ready to begin that work.
