The composition

A ivory field with the densities easing across the surface. The drawing was held back deliberately; nothing in it has to compete for attention. The asymmetry of the composition keeps the rug from reading as a tile, which is the trap a poorly drawn jacquard often falls into.

The fibre

Polypropylene yarn, heat-set so the colour cannot leach. The construction tolerates households with children and pets, takes a damp cloth without protest, and does not shed in the way a wool tier does. The pile stays flat through years of furniture traffic.
